Before I lose you on the pleasantries, I implore you to hold off that temptation to skip this page over. I'm sure you're a very busy person. With hundreds of millions of blogs out there today, I wish most had a more informative synopsis. If you take nothing away from this publication except one thing, take this: The People's Chef blog is about you. It is about your relationship to the food you eat. It is about what you eat, but more importantly it is about what you think.

Number 1. Your Opinion is Valued: If you're reading this right now, there are a couple things I know about you: a) You had something to eat today. Shocker! OK, but I'm going somewhere with this. The second thing I know is that you had an opinion on that experience. Since the dawn of the frontal cortex, our species has been blessed or cursed (who knows which) with not just an appetite, but a conscious appetite. Here you are not only free but encouraged to share any and all opinions, comments, or questions on any gastronomical experiences, past, present or future.
Number 2. You Will Learn... A lot!: Can't even conquer the toaster? Are you an experienced restaurant Vet? Consider yourself a foodie? The only thing our team of chef contributors has ever agreed on unanimously is that a good chef never stops learning, and beginner is really just a fancy word for "plenty of room to grow". Read and practise the ideas posted here, I will guarantee that your confidence, and conscience in the kitchen will never be the same.
Number 3. Your Investment Will be Returned: Breaking News! The economy is struggling! Excuse my sarcasm, but every time I think of investing lately I have a BNNCTV Financial news reel playing audio in my head. "NASDAQ is plummeting. DOW Jones, down!"
Now before we get to far into how or why the economy is the way it is (that`s a whole other blog), let`s get back to the idea we started with. Investing. Reading and applying the things you will see here is a guaranteed, no risk, huge reward investment. Its the best kind of investment you can ever make, because it is in Y-O-U Incorporated. And the return for this investment is a faster mind, a happier family, a lighter body and a heavier wallet. Learning to cook is one of the best investments you can ever make. Period. (Think Apple Inc. circa 1995, opposite of Facebook's IPO.)

So here`s to you, oh mighty eater. In your hands lies the final outcome of this new, fresh, judicious, and delicious food blog. We hope to hear from you soon.
